Goldfinch at The Natural Gait

Birds to be found within the area of The Natural Gait, Effigy Mounds National Monument and the Mississippi River.

BACK

Many people come to The Natural Gait to enjoy bird watching.

Along the "Father of Waters", the "Upper Mississippi River", offers fabulous opportunities for birding among extensive marsh lands, wooded bottom lands, open water, sand prairie, and wooded bluffs. We are sitting in one of the regions of the U.S. with the most diversity of birds.
